JURALINGO
Legal Language Training
Almost 15 years of experience
Since 2011, JURALINGO’s legal language training sessions have been helping to improve the ability of provincial court judges to sit in either of Canada’s two official languages, thanks to the excellence of its pedagogy.
This tailor-made pedagogy is also combined with community and cultural activities, organized in conjunction with the communities of Caraquet and Moncton, New Brunswick.
Together, they have made JURALINGO's reputation.

Weekly activities include terminology workshops, practical exercises and simulations led by a team of learning specialists, legal experts and training judges. This team, which is made up of members from everywhere in the country, is Juralingo’s driving force.
As soon as they arrive in the community, learners start living an immersive experience in their second language. A simulated trial with local lawyers, RCMP members and comedians playing the roles of the accused and witnesses is always one of the flagship activities of this intensive week.
The program also includes social and cultural learning activities aimed at providing opportunities to communicate in English with community members. Whether it is achieved by presenting Ted Talks or visiting local businesses, the main objective remains learning.
